Today, the Assembly had the privilege of hosting the RECCE team from the County Assemblies Sports Association.
Led by the Secretary General of CASA, Hon. Bernard Omboko, and Hon. Zakayo Manyasa, a member of the NEC Committee, the team paid a courtesy visit to the Assembly Clerk, CPA K Jane Waweru, before embarking on an assessment of various fields.
Their objective was to evaluate whether Nakuru would be a suitable host for this year’s CASA Games.
CASA is a sports organization in Kenya that brings together Members of County Assemblies (MCAs) from different counties to participate in various sports activities.
It was established in 2014 to promote sports, physical fitness, and wellness among MCAs and staff of County Assemblies.
The association aims to encourage healthy competition and foster unity among MCAs from different counties through sports.
CASA organizes an annual sports event known as the CASA Games, which brings together MCAs from different counties to compete in various sports disciplines, including football, volleyball, netball, athletics, and others.
The CASA Games also provide a platform for MCAs to network, exchange ideas, and build relationships with their colleagues from other counties.
