
In a move that underscores the importance of collaboration and sporting events in fostering unity and development, today, the County Assemblies Sports Association (CASA) paid a courtesy call to the Assembly. The visit aimed to discuss preparations for the upcoming 4th edition of the CASA Games, scheduled to take place in Nakuru in August, this year.
The CASA National Executive Council (NEC) team, led by Hon. Jateso Imwatok and CASA Secretary General Hon. Benard Omboko, met with the Deputy Speaker of the County Assembly, Hon Joseph Ngware, Deputy Clerk Mr Steve Gatimu, and the Assembly’s CASA Coordinator Mr Jacob Kesendany. During the meeting, the officials discussed various aspects related to the hosting and organization of the CASA Games.
Hon. Ngware expressed his delight at hosting the championship and assured the CASA NEC team of the Assembly’s unwavering commitment to making the event a resounding success.
“The County Assembly is fully prepared to host the 4th edition of the CASA Games, and we are excited about the opportunity to showcase our county’s hospitality and sporting talent,” Hon. Ngware remarked. “We will leave no stone unturned in our quest to make this event memorable for all participants and spectators.”
The CASA NEC team conveyed their gratitude to the County Assembly for their willingness to collaborate and support the CASA Games. They acknowledged the crucial role played by the County Assembly in creating an enabling environment for the development of sports in the region.
Hon. Imwatok, speaking on behalf of CASA, expressed his appreciation for the warm reception and support extended by the County Assembly of Nakuru. He emphasized the significance of the CASA Games in fostering unity among county assemblies across the country and promoting healthy competition among participants.
