1. House Business Committee
Role:
• Prepares and adjusts the Assembly Calendar.
• Oversees implementation of Assembly business and programs.
• Schedules and prioritizes Assembly business and committee reports.
• Issues directives on Assembly business with concurrence from party leader

2. Committee on Selection
Role:
• Nominates members to serve in committees (except House Business and Appointments Committees).

3. Committee on Appointments
Role:
• Considers and approves appointments under Article 179(2) (Members of County Executive Committees).

4. County Public Accounts and Investments Committee
Role:
• Examines reports on county public accounts and investments.
• Evaluates Auditor General reports on public investments.
• Assesses whether public investments are managed soundly and efficiently.

5. Budget and Appropriations Committee
Role:
• Reviews and reports on all budget-related matters.
• Examines budget estimates, policy statements, and appropriation bills.
• Evaluates economic and fiscal policies with direct budget impact.

6. Assembly Rules and Delegated Legislation Committee
Role:
• Reviews standing orders and statutory instruments.
• Evaluates legality, constitutionality, and impact of delegated legislation.
• Proposes rules for effective committee business.

7. Committee of Privileges
Role:
• Investigates breaches of the Code of Conduct by Members.
• Inquires into conduct affecting the dignity or integrity of the Assembly.
• Recommends disciplinary action to the Assembly.

8. Committee on Implementation
Role:
• Monitors the implementation of Assembly resolutions, petitions, and executive undertakings.
• Evaluates the operationalization of laws passed by the Assembly.
• May propose sanctions against non-compliant executive members.

9. Liaison Committee
Role:
• Coordinates operations and programs of all committees.
• Apportions committee budgets and reviews travel plans.
• Ensures submission of committee reports and deliberates on unreviewed reports.

10. Members’ Welfare, Catering and Library Committee
Role:
• Liaises with the County Assembly Service Board on matters related to members' welfare, catering, and library services.
