Trade Committee Chair Hon. Stanley Karanja issues a statement on unregulated trading activities within the County involving foreign nationals. The statement was requested by Hon. David Muraya.

Also on the Order Paper, Majority Leader Hon. William Mutai moves a motion to alter the House calendar to allow for extra sittings on 21st and 23rd October to consider urgent business. If approved, the House proceeds on recess on 23rd October and resumes on 2nd November.

MCA moves to censure Roads Chief Officer as Assembly debates motion

Hon. John Mwangi Macharia, MCA for Turi Ward, moves a motion to censure Roads Chief Officer Kennedy Mungai and the County Assembly debates it.

The motion cites alleged misconduct and administrative impropriety in the management of the county road programme. It seeks an audit of the programme and an investigation by the County Public Service Board.

The motion acknowledges the constitutional presumption of innocence and says the censure is subject to verification of facts and due process.
