House calls for integration of grade 1–3 learners into County Uji Programme The House deliberates on a Motion by Hon. David Wathiai Macharia, MCA Shabab Ward, seeking the phased integration of Grade 1–3 learners into the Nakuru County Uji/School Feeding Programme. The Motion proposes a partnership between the County and National Governments, with Grade 1 learners prioritised in the pilot phase, particularly in rural and remote areas, informal settlements and food-insecure wards, to address nutrition, attendance and retention challenges.

House considers report on visit to Kihoto area, Naivasha The House considers a Motion by Hon. Moses Koros, Chairperson of the Committee on Disaster Management and Emergency Services, seeking adoption of the Committee’s report on its visit to Kihoto Area held on 20th February 2026. The report was laid before the House on Tuesday, 4th August 2026 during the afternoon sitting.

The House receives the PAIC report on the Auditor-General’s examination of the financial statements of Keringet Sub-County Hospital for the year ended 30th June 2025, tabled by Committee Chair Hon. Simon Kamau. The House also deliberates on a Motion by Hon. David Wathiai Macharia, MCA Shabab Ward, seeking the phased integration of Grade 1–3 learners into the Nakuru County Uji/School Feeding Programme. The proposed initiative would involve collaboration between the County and National Governments, with priority given to Grade 1 learners in the pilot phase, particularly in rural and remote areas, informal settlements and food-insecure wards. It seeks to address nutrition, attendance and learning challenges among transitioning learners while promoting equitable access to school feeding support.

Members consider the Report of the County Public Accounts and Investments Committee on the examination of the Financial Statements of Kabazi Sub-County Level 4 Hospital for the financial year ended 30th June 2023. The report highlights key audit concerns, including weaknesses in financial reporting, understaffing, shortages of essential medical equipment and stock-outs of critical medical commodities. It also proposes measures to strengthen accountability, financial management and service delivery at the facility.
